Detailed Weekly Plan
WEEK 1
- Study AWL list (20 new words per day)
- Practice note taking (use symbols, short forms, arrows)
- Learn speaking templates (especially for Integrated tasks)
- Listening every day: focus on extracting main idea + 2 key details
WEEK 2
- Integrated Speaking Task 3 + 4 daily practice
- Integrated Writing practice 3 days per week
- Learn paraphrasing techniques (very important in TOEFL)
- Vocabulary review continues (15 words/day)
WEEK 3
- Reading strategy:
- Skimming first 60 seconds
- Mark triggering words (however, therefore, in contrast, furthermore, consequently, etc.)
- Predict function of each paragraph
- Timed Reading practice (18 minutes per passage)
- Speaking independent questions 2 questions/day
WEEK 4
- 3 full mini practice tests
- Focus on weakest section (based on results)
- Move from “knowledge” → “automatic test execution”
- Don’t study new vocabulary this week — only recycle and use what you know
Extra things you MUST do:
1) Shadowing 5 minutes before sleep
Choose any academic topic video → repeat like a speaker.
It improves your speaking fluency FAST.
2) Use English only while studying TOEFL
No translation.
Train your brain academically in English.
3) Keep a grammar mistake list
Not full grammar study — only your own repeated mistakes.
